- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll see how to define colors using the colors dialogue. I'll start by choosing windows, talkable dialogues, colors, and there are several tabs here. In the first tab, you have the same options that you see when you click either the foreground or the background colors in the toolbox. Here, the vertical slider corespondents to the button you have selected, so for example, with blue selected I can drag the slider to increase or decrease the amount of blue in the color. And I can also click or drag in the large area to adjust the amounts of the other two colors. Or switch to a different slider by clicking its button, like green, and adjust the amount of green and so on. Also notice below is an eyedropper that you can use to click and sample colors from anywhere on your screen, even outside the GIMP interface. And there's a field where you can read or enter hexadecimal colors. The second tab in the colors dialogue allows you to define colors as CMYK…
