ServiceNow user interfaces
- [Presenter] You can navigate ServiceNow like a pro. Using user interfaces, you can interact with ServiceNow applications and data in a way that suits you most. ServiceNow offers different user interfaces to enhance user experience and efficiency. For example, the next experience UI offers a personalized ServiceNow experience to boost productivity and engagement. It centralizes all application navigation. within a unified app shell, giving you control over how you access information. Furthermore, the platform enables you to build custom menus and landing pages, allowing seamless transitions between the core applications and your tailored workspaces. The workspace UI allows you to build a customized environment that aligns with your business requirements. You can experience improved agent efficiency, faster issue resolution, and robust incident monitoring, all within a unified view. With this powerful interface, you can also get insightful analysis and AI powered recommendations. We also have portals that are usually the entry point for self-service users. Although there is the Now mobile app for users to find and request what they need, portals are also built to provide a mobile friendly experience for users to access services. Employee center portal is a good example as it provides a single dynamic destination for employees to interact with multiple departments, like IT, HR, workplace for service requests, task management, and information searching. By unifying access and streamlining service delivery through digital workflows, it saves employees time and helps organizations easily scale their service solutions. ServiceNow had other interfaces such as UI16, also known as the core UI. Before introducing the next experience, you will see me referring to the classic environment during the course to distinguish it from the workspaces. Classic environment refers to working with lists and forms in the standard platform interface, not the workspaces, which could mean either the core UI or the next experience UI. In the following two videos, we'll focus on navigating the platform using the next experience and workspaces. The excitement continues.
