- [Instructor] Did you know that you can use a reusable template for usability testing in Dovetail? This is key so you can efficiently run usability tests without the tedious setup every time. I'll walk you through customizing a usability testing template in Dovetail, pre-filling key information to make test setup faster, and creating consistency across all your usability tests. Let's get started. First, navigate to the Templates section. Here you can see all of the templates available in Dovetail. I'm selecting the usability testing template by Pete Binns and installing this template. I have a page set up for usability testing in my project, so now I have this template installed. As you can see, I have the sections that were included in the template, and now I can customize this. I can bring in task and observations, and I can bring in highlights from my project as well.
