- [Interviewer] How do you recommend people take in information for the first time versus when reviewing it for a second time? - [Instructor] Okay, well, when you take it in for the first time, ask yourself, what am I looking for? If I'm reading something, what are my questions? If you're watching someone do something athletic you want to be able to do, you want to kind of watch that and say to yourself, what do you think they're, what do I think they're doing and how might I do that? And then you put yourself in the position, you read the text or you go out with your a coach and try the thing that you want to learn. And then you get some feedback from a coach. If it's yourself, you put the thing aside you give yourself a little quiz, you say, well, I think it's this, but I better go back and look and see if I really got that.
