Use recommended charts for quick data visualization - Microsoft Excel Tutorial

Use recommended charts for quick data visualization
- [Instructor] Figuring out which chart type to make in Excel isn't always obvious. In this case, we have sales data by month and week, but we also have the profit percentage for each month. We might want to show this on the chart and we're not sure how to illustrate these results. If we select our data and go into the Insert tab, we can click on Recommended Charts. Excel makes a little analysis for us, and we actually have different chart types that can help us illustrate or make our point. In our case, I like the first one. We'll just select this one and click on OK. We can quickly see that our profit margin is very low in June and in February. Great insights, but make sure to double-check Excel, as these recommended charts are great ideas, but not always the best for you. It can just sometimes save you some precious minutes.
