- [Instructor] Animations add interest to a live presentation, and are particularly effective when added to a chart. Let's go back to our Excel file now, and we're going to add another chart to the slide deck that we can add some animation to. So we'll go to here, we'll hit Ctrl + C to copy it onto the clipboard. We'll go back to our presentation that we've been working on. We'll go to a new slide. And now, if we are going to paste this in as a link, as with the designer, our options are going to be limited. So if you want to add animation to a chart, you need to embed rather than link. So I'll just hit Ctrl + V to add it into my slide deck, and give it a title. Okay, and my designer will come up. Let's see what my options are, let's make it similar to the previous one. Okay, I'm happy with that. And I can now go in and go to the animations, and I can add some animations now.
