- In the last video, we talked about setting expectations for future content. The last email was us making a promise to our audience. This email has to deliver on that promise. If you want to send a once a month, 5,000 word deep dive into a subject, this email should show your new format. It should show users what they'll keep receiving as long as they're on the list. We want to start strong with good open and click rates. The idea is if you start sending batches of emails, the very first batch, which sets expectations, should have a high open and click through rate.
