What is SCORM?
- [Instructor] Now it's time to wrap our minds around SCORM. And we'll begin by breaking down the acronym SCORM, which stands for shareable content object reference model. To put it in simpler terms, SCORM is a reference model, which is really just a set of instructions for the objects or pieces of content you want to share with others. The shareable objects are your courses and the components making up those courses like chapters, lessons, even quizzes. So to say your e-learning courses is SCORM compliant means you followed this set of instructions when creating it and preparing it to be hosted on an LMS.
