- Part of using DevOps to strengthen your agile implementation is to just apply lean and agile to your systems work. Cloud engineering teams can work in a Scrum framework and deliver incremental improvements in each sprint, web operations teams can visualize their work on a Kanban board, and either type of team can add systems engineers alongside developers, testers, and product owners. Now, DevOps itself doesn't have approaches as structured as Scrum or Kanban. It's a loose set of practices that people use and not a framework of its own. There's no single guide to download. But DevOps has come up with some structured techniques to better enable the entire value stream that are worth understanding. In the last video, we mentioned the five main values of DevOps: culture, automation, lean, measurement, and sharing. Culture because, in the end, this is all a human problem.
