What you should know
- [Instructor] To get the most out of this course, I expect that you have some basic familiarty with SQL Server databases and the management studio interface. Specifically, you should know how to log into the server with an administrator account and how to create new data tables and other objects using the graphical user interface. In this course, we'll build on this foundation by leveraging the scripting capabilities of the SQL language. If you feel like you need a refresher before moving forward, I'd recommend taking a look at Learn Microsoft SQL Server 2016: The Basics. I'll be using the 2016 Developer Edition of SQL Server, but you should be able to follow along using any edition that you have access to, including the free Express Edition.
