- [Instructor] We are now ready to add a dropdown menu to our application, to allow us to display the graph for different metals. First off, we'll edit our layout to include a menu area. The menu area session will be at the same level as our header area in our layout. So that means down at line 49. And this is the branch for this video, which we have checked out, which is O402B. So line 49, we're going to add a new element and it's going to be an html div. And it's going to have an ID of menu area. And the children are going to be a list because there are more than one. And the first child is going to be another html div. And the second child is going to be dcc.Dropdown-coolcomponents dropdown menu. And then we can fill out some details.
