Prerequisites
Before we dive into the actual course, here is a quick look at the pre-reqs that you need to have to make the most of your learning. Now, if you know the fundamentals of data flows using ETL or extract transform load pipelines, all of the things that we cover in this course will make much more sense to you. We do integrate with the PostgreSQL database, so you should know the basics of SQL and connecting to databases. And finally, some basic familiarity with the cloud that is is working with Amazon S3 buckets will be very useful. There is no specific language prereq because NiFi is entirely drag and drop based. We'll only work with the NiFi web interface.
