- [Instructor] Pricing software is used by companies to manage pricing strategies for whatever products and services they offer. Now, typically for a lot of companies, you're just going to start by creating your pricing in a CRM type offering like Salesforce or in another enterprise type software like an ERP, for example. But that type of basic pricing, while it's widely used by salespeople, it's arguably inefficient, right? Pricing software gives you flexible features that give the sales group the ability to set specific pricing for different customers, as well as discounts and rebates and it lets you monitor what's going on in the industry overall. So to have effective pricing software in my opinion at least, there's a few key things that you need to have in place.
