- When you're building your strategic leadership program, it's important to remember that it doesn't end when the first class starts. If you've been charged with filling your company's pipeline with future leaders you are likely to be asked to prove that it's working. So let's talk about how you answer the question, how will we measure our return on investment? First, don't worry. Almost anything can be measured. You just have to know what you want to measure. You'll most likely want to include both business metrics and learning metrics. For example, in our case study, we worked with a large staffing company to develop a leadership academy for over 600 franchise owners. The goal was to increase the franchise owner's leadership skills, increase sales, and decrease turnover.
