- In this web safari, we're going to explore external intelligence sources to be aware of on the SecurityX exam, starting with OSINT, open-source intelligence. So here we are at IBM, and they're going to tell us that OSINT is the process of gathering and analyzing publicly available information, to assess threats, make decisions, or answer certain questions. Many organizations use OSINT as a cybersecurity tool to gauge security risks and identify vulnerabilities.
