- [Narrator] "What is Conditional Access?" Well, Conditional Access provides policy-based granular access to your organizational resources. It can potentially permit or block users from working anywhere on almost any device while remaining conformant to security requirements. Some scenarios for the use of Conditional Access include Conditional Access based on an app. So in other words, if a user uses a particular app like a modern desktop app to access exchange online content like Outlook, that would be permitted. But if they used a web browser, it might not be permitted, or it would require additional authentication or access from a compliant device. Likewise, Conditional Access based on a network determines where you are and what network you're using to connect. It might be the case that connecting from a corporate network, which is known, is inherently more secure than connecting from an anonymous network. You know…
