- Because we've got such strong habits, even if you've set up collaboration behaviors really well and everyone does intend to follow them, you'll always have somebody who forgets. And it might be because they're super busy and they just have to check their emails or take a call during a meeting, or it might be that they forgot about being quite confident and they do talk too much, and they don't realize that they're not leaving airtime for others. Or it might be that they really struggle to be constructive because they know how hard the objective is and they don't know how we'll sort it out. Whatever happens, people will go off track, they'll forget to take it turns to speak, they'll revert to the way that they normally act, and that's okay. We're all super stressed and busy and it's hard to change the behaviors of a lifetime, right? However, and this is really important, we must, we absolutely must respectfully and politely intervene.
