- [Narrator] A successful deployment requires careful planning. One of the benefits is an ability to avoid common mistakes. A checklist is helpful in accomplishing this goal. We just went over model validation, which is one of the critical items to check. Interoperability is another thing to consider. If your existing system doesn't work well with what you are delivering, the deployment team needs to be alerted. Change management, also called configuration management or CM, is important in this context because it's a mechanism to keep track of the history of deployment details. If you don't know what was installed or updated on the same system where your model is to be implemented it's almost impossible to tell whether the system will be operational as a whole. The next item is more practical in nature. For a model to be implemented in production successfully it must establish proper connections with other legacy systems.…
