- We could do an entire course on structural framing. Let's see if we can tackle it in one video for the exam though. So in this video, we're going to add some framing on a flat plane as well as sloped framing. It's going to be fun. Let's jump into Revit. For projects let's go new. We will use our structural template, then we will click okay. The stem to level two is just fine. I do want to add a column though. Let's go to structure, let's click column, let's make sure vertical column is selected. Instead of height, let's go depth, and instead of unconnected, let's go to level one. I don't care what the column is, it's fine so I'm just going to pick a point like right here. Maybe I'll pick a point here. Hit escape a couple times.
