As a Greenbelt, you should know a few things, including 1. how to develop process maps and 2. how to review process documentation, such as procedures, instructions and flowcharts to identify any gaps and misalignments. Let me start with process maps. A process map is a diagram that provides a visual representation of the process flow or sequence of activities or steps that take place in a process from start to finish. There are different types of process maps, starting with a high-level process map, a detailed process map, a swim lane or deployment process map, and a value stream map. Sounds familiar?
