However, that popularity also makes it a prime target for cyber attacks, and in this video we're going to explore some built-in tools and techniques to enhance our Windows security. And while Windows does give us several tools to help protect systems against threats, they're only going to be effective if we understand how to configure them properly. So in this video, we're discussing four key areas of Windows security: Windows Defender, the host-based firewall, the command line and PowerShell interfaces for advanced configurations, and also we'll consider the threat of privilege escalation.
