Customizing autofocus settings

- As a photographer I'm a big fan of technology. I suppose that goes without saying. At least to some extent, with digital cameras these days. But that also extends to autofocus. Autofocus can be absolute lifesaver in a variety of situations. Certainly there are times when I want to manually focus on a subject, but many times autofocus really saves the day. And the Canon 5D Mark IV has some very advanced features related to autofocus. One of those newest features is a dual-pixel CMOS sensor that performs autofocus. It actually improves overall autofocus support. There are 61 autofocus points, 41 of those are cross-type which gives us enhanced support. They're both vertical and horizontal essentially, so that we're getting better focus, faster focus. And with all of that technology there are lots of settings related to autofocus.
