Continuous improvement of the DevSecOps pipeline

One of the most important parts of DevOps and DevSecOps is continuous improvement. It enables us to try and get better at building software and ultimately providing more value to the business. Jez Humble says, DevOps is not a goal, but a never-ending process of continual improvement. The goal isn't just to build a pipeline or transform an organization to DevOps, but it's to continually get better, understand what works and what doesn't. Let's talk about a few things with continuous improvement. We should always get better. Try and figure out what went wrong during a release and strive for perfection. Metrics can help here. We talked about metrics in a previous video. Use those to improve. Understand where the DevOps and DevSecOps process needs to improve or where you are seeing some bad trends.
