- [Narrator] So let's kind of establish where those are, sort of the the standards of physical movement that look comfortable but not anxious to an audience, right? Like for example, what to do with your hands. What would you recommend to someone just starting out? - [Speaker] So I always tell people, the main thing that you don't want to do, you don't want to play around with your hands, meaning that you play around with your fingers and twirl them around, or whatever you would do with your hands, and you also don't want to just clasp your fingers together. - [Narrator] In front of your pelvis, right? - [Speaker] Yep, exactly. So a happy medium that I tell beginning speakers is not to clasp your fingers, but just to have your fingertips gently touch.
