- [Instructor] When something needs to be finished as soon as possible, or you have to concentrate on a tough problem, you don't want distractions ruining your productivity. In that case, you can tell Basecamp you don't want to be disturbed. So we're going to head up to the top right and click the avatar. In this case, it's Jennifer's initials. When you click your avatar, you'll see this dialog box. It will tell you that either notifications are on or off. If they're off and you want to turn them on, click the link change your notification settings. That takes you to this page where you can specify what notifications you want to get, how you want to receive them, and when. I have them turned on, so I'm going to click the back arrow to go back to my homepage. Then, I'm going to go back up and click the avatar again. If you want quiet time without interruptions from notifications and badges, you can turn on focus mode.…
