- AWS cost Management Anomaly Detection is in beta at the time of this recording. So by the time you watch it, there might be more features. It's a really cool set of services. What does it do? So, as it says here, it uses custom built ML models to evaluate your daily account spend for anomalies while adjusting for seasonality and organic growth. So it helps you control costs. Now, it doesn't replace you, but it simply helps you. Amazon is really starting to provide more and more tools because of this problem with shock bills. And this is a service that really has a lot of interesting implications. So how does it work? You can see there's a summary page here and it shows us our spend and our total spend versus last month, which is huge because this is the first month that we've opened this account.
