- [Instructor] Folks, we've made it to our last technical video and I hope you've been enjoying this course, but I've saved the most exciting topic for last. Documentation. Who doesn't love documentation? Let's be real. Documentation can be boring and time consuming but as you can probably guess, DBAtools will make this a lot easier for us. This documentation can be really useful to see what your environment looked like on a certain day. Perhaps suddenly someone doesn't have access, but you can look back and prove that they never actually had that access approved. It's also really useful in disaster recovery situations. If you suddenly have to rebuild an instance from scratch, these scripts will help you get back to exactly how it was. We're going to run Export-DbaInstance, and that will help to document all the instances we've passed in. In this case, the SqlInstance variable, which contains our two test instances.…
