ChatGPT for Excel
In this video, we're going to look at the new ChatGPT for Excel add-in to see how it can help save time with your everyday Excel tasks. The first thing you'll need to do is install the add-in. So on the Home tab, we're going to click the Add-ins button and then click Manage. And you can do this on both the desktop and web versions of Excel. Within Search, we're going to search for ChatGPT. And here we want to make sure we select the official version by OpenAI. And then here we'll click Add. Now, if you're using Excel at work, you'll likely need to get permissions from your IT administrator. Once the add-in is installed, the ChatGPT button will appear here on the Home tab. And clicking that will open this task pane on the right side where we can chat with ChatGPT. And you will need to log into your OpenAI account the first time you use this.
