How do you know if your AI automation is working? You need metrics, not just it feels faster. We need actual numbers that show effectiveness. Without metrics, you can't prove ROI. If you can't prove ROI, you can't justify the investment. Let me show you how to measure success. Here are some KPIs you can measure and manage with your AI. We've got time per analysis, cost per analysis, throughput, or number of assessments conducted and time saved. Let's take a look at what raw figures we are recording that can become metrics. This is our time tracking with timestamps and our gaps log. From our gaps log, we can get the timestamps and perform the calculations to determine the rates or these KPIs to measure success. We compare that to the estimates we use for manual work. KPIs like gap detection rate or AI versus the human can be determined here. Our false positive rate of AI versus human in incorrect gaps, we can measure if the AI is validating citations or not with the recording feedback.…
