Creating a BigQuery data set
- [Instructor] We now move on to the demos of this course, on advanced BigQuery. To make use of the BigQuery service, we will of course need to pull up a browser, and then navigate over to the Google Cloud Platform. Accessible at console.cloud.google.com. And then log in with a user who has the ability to create BigQuery resources. For me, this is a user called cloud.user. Next, I'll just enter the password, and if you have followed along with me, you'll soon be connected to GCP. Note that in here, there is a project called loony-bigquery, which I have created specifically for the demos in this course, and this is my currently active project. Make sure that you are connected to a project, where you can create BigQuery resources. Now to head over to BigQuery, we can pull up the navigation menu, over to BigQuery, and then SQL workspace.
