GitHub Codespaces introduction
- [Instructor] In this analytics engineering course, we take advantage of GitHub Codespaces so you can follow along and practice the skills I show you on your own computer. The best part of GitHub Codespaces is that you don't need to download anything to participate. It's all hosted in your browser and GitHub's Codespace. You just need an internet connection and a computer. You can navigate to our Codespace by clicking on the link below this video. This should take you to a repository called advanced-analytics-engineering-real-world-practice. Once there, you can click on this green button that says Code, switch to the tab called Codespaces, and then hit the plus button to create a new Codespace. That could take a couple minutes, so just hang tight while it loads in your browser. Once the editor finishes loading, you should see all of the files for your project over here on the left-hand side. There are branches in our GitHub repo that correspond to each video in our course.
