Let's understand how do we implement the virtualization and how Orchestrator works. Now, here on the diagram on the left side, you will see the physical hardware in the black color. These are the black boxes representing the compute storage and network resources for a particular underlying hardware. Now, using a hypervisor, we can extract virtual machines from this physical infrastructure. These virtual machines are managed and optimized by the Virtualized Infrastructure Manager, or WIM. The WIM ensures that the underlying hardware is efficiently allocated to meet the needs of various network functions. Each virtual machine can host a virtual network functions, and these are connected via different switches and routers. So these different functions can represent different part of the 5G network. It could be the core network components, such as AMF, UPF, SMF, or AUSF in this case. Or it could be for radio access network, it could be for open RAN, maybe distributed unit or centralized…
