Excel conditional formatting

- [Instructor] How to use conditional formatting in Excel to make your data pop a little bit more visually. So I've selected a bunch of cells here for quantity. On the home tab, I'm going to go to Conditional Formatting, choose Color Scales, and you can see different options. The first one is the red, yellow, green, where red is the lowest number and green is highest. And that automatically will color that for you. And there are some other options for colors as well. We even have a little bit of red, white, and blue if you want. Now the other one is Data Bars. This can show different Gradient Fills, showing where five is the lowest and 186 is the highest, and there are some different colors. We even have the Solid Fills. And the final one you can play around with is Icon Sets. And this is kind of fun. I can go here and get a red and yellow and green circle for a high, medium, low. There are arrows. There's also things with checks and exclamation points and a little red x. And there's even things at the bottom where you've got pie charts and stars and all sorts of things that you can play around with.
