Base pay range
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive to drive revenue growth by selling advanced analytics solutions to customers in the Life Sciences sector. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales cycle, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders across pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare research organizations.
Responsibilities include:
Sales Execution
- Own and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Meet or exceed sales targets through consultative selling of data analytics platforms, services, or software to life sciences clients
- Develop account plans and pursue strategic opportunities within target accounts
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers in commercial, medical, and analytics functions
- Understand customer needs, pain points, and business objectives to position analytics offerings effectively
Market & Product Expertise
- Stay current on trends in life sciences analytics—particularly in the use of real-world data, AI/ML, and digital health analytics
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s analytics capabilities, use cases, and differentiators
Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, account teams, and solutions development to deliver tailored solutions and compelling proposals
- Provide market feedback to internal teams to inform product development and go-to-market strategies
Pipeline & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records (e.g., Salesforce) to track sales activity, pipeline progression, and forecasting
- Report on KPIs, wins, challenges, and market trends.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS, preferably in Communications, Marketing/Advertising, Business Analytics, Data Science or another related field; MBA is a plus
- 10+ years of sales experience, preferably selling SaaS, analytics, or data-driven solutions in the life sciences, healthcare, or pharma industries.
- Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the science and therapeutic category of potential new accounts
- Familiarity with one or more of the following: commercial analytics, clinical trial analytics, predictive modeling, or healthcare data platforms
- Proven ability to prospect, pitch, and close deals in a competitive environment
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Comfort navigating complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments
