Server Analyst / Linux

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring & system health checks
• Job status reviews
• Dashboard monitoring
• Email alert reviews
• Handle incident & problem management
• Troubleshoot alerts
• Work on assigned tickets
• Provide technical support to internal customers
• Participate in:
• System maintenance (HW/SW)
• Security vulnerability remediation
• Project support activities
• Knowledge sharing / training sessions
• Continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in:

• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• OR related field
• OR
• 4 years of relevant work experience
• OR
• Associate's degree + 2 years of relevant experience

Minimum 6 years of experience in:

• Server administration
• OR related IT infrastructure roles
• Strong experience with:
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Enterprise Infrastructure Management
• Ansible (automation/configuration management)

Scripting:

• Bash
• Perl
• YAML

Preferred:

• Exposure to:
• AIX
• Solaris
• IT Vulnerability Management
• Security & Compliance practices
