Position Overview
This position will support Ethicon manufacturing operations located in Cornelia and Athens from a finance control standpoint providing accurate, timely, and substantial financial analysis. Also, will be in charge of the business planning and forecasting cycles. Apply financial and general business expertise to provide analysis and leadership in Cost Accounting & Financial Reporting.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$79,000- $127,650

Position Overview

Responsibilities
In accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Provide finance leadership and decision support to operations and all functional departments
- Own and drive monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring all deliverables are accurately and timely submitted
- Perform monthly BVA analysis and prepare and submit financial dashboards and manufacturing PL
- Perform analytics for business cases, changes to current manufacturing models and new products introductions
- Analyze the P&L and Cost of Production Accounts to provide financial insight
- Lead Annual Business Plan activities and other forecast cycles, including submissions in the planning system
- Identify risks/opportunities and develop strategies to influence, shape and enhance plant operations and/or business activities
- Ensure compliance GAAP requirements are met as it relates to quarterly closes, audits, business processes; work with requests from J&J Global Audit and Assurance (GAA) and PWC as required
- Provide robust, consistent and timely financial reporting to drive transparency to senior leadership
- Support ad-hoc projects and requests as needed for Business and Finance Leadership
- Identification and/or participation in the implementation of process improvements/standardization of activities
- A minimum bachelor’s degree required (prefer major in Accounting/Finance)
- A minimum of 3 years’ professional Finance experience is required
- CPA, CMA, MBA a plus
- Sound analytical and technical skills are essential
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are required
- Expert applying accounting/financial concepts, practices and techniques are required
- Knowledge of a variety of computer software packages particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and General Ledger preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables, formulas, macros and VLOOKUP functions is preferred
- Experience in SAP is strongly preferred
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device and/or consumer products industries preferred
- Prior supply chain experience is preferred
- Must be self-motivated, team-oriented and have excellent communication, interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to remain flexible, work extra hours, prioritize and respond to business changing needs
- The ability to recommend and implement process improvements, work with minimum supervision and manage several tasks simultaneously is required
- This position will be in Cornelia, Ga and may require up to 10% travel
