UHP partners with leading physician practices, creating a cohesive, quality-oriented clinical culture and facilitating best practice sharing across the platform. Our affiliated practices gain access to a broader suite of services, providing a meaningful benefit to both physicians and patients. UHP's best-in-class clinical program covers three sub-specialties (urology, gastroenterology, and radiation oncology) and offers numerous ancillary services, including pathology lab, in-office dispensing, and chronic care management. We are led by a highly accomplished management team and provide a full suite of management services to its affiliated practices. UHP is currently affiliated with 182 providers consisting of 119 physicians and 63 advanced practice providers operating out of 54 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California.
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst is responsible for transforming healthcare, operational, and practice data into actionable insights that support strategic and day-to-day business decisions across the organization. This role will lead the development of meaningful dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that help stakeholders monitor performance, identify trends, and improve outcomes.
This is a hands-on analytics and reporting role requiring deep experience in healthcare data, strong proficiency in Power BI, and direct working knowledge of athenaOne Collector and/or athenaOne Clinicals.
The ideal candidate understands how to work within a healthcare environment, interpret data from clinical and practice management workflows, and build reporting solutions that support operational leaders, clinical teams, and executive stakeholders.
Important: This is not a systems integration role, IT implementation role, or revenue cycle management (RCM) operations role. We are seeking a candidate with strong healthcare analytics and dashboard/reporting experience.

What You Will Be Doing
- Contribute to the ongoing implementation of the organization's business intelligence strategy
- Oversee the transformation of raw data into meaningful information through data modeling, data mining, and visualization, creating dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across the organization and resolve any data quality issues.
- Manage, mentor and provide guidance to the BI team
- Partner with different departments and stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements.
- Present data findings, interpretations, and strategic recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports in Power BI to support clinical, operational, and executive decision-making.
- Analyze data from athenaOne Collector and/or athenaOne Clinicals and other internal healthcare data sources to identify trends, gaps, opportunities, and performance insights.
- Bachelor’s in technology preferred, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably within a physician practice management, medical group, ambulatory care, or multisite healthcare environment.
- 3+ years of direct experience using athenaOne Collector and/or athenaOne Clinicals (Required – this is a key qualification for the role)
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or analytics.
- Strong hands-on experience with PowerBI, including:
- dashboard development
- data visualization
- report creation
- KPI tracking
- stakeholder-facing reporting
- Experience working with SQL, Apache Superset dashboards highly preferred
- Up to 20% travel
