About the Role

WILDE is seeking a strategic and results driven Regional Market Manager to drive brand growth across both natural and conventional retail channels. This role will focus on expanding points of distribution throughout the independent natural channel while continuing to strengthen brand presence at key conventional and natural retailers across Southern California.


The Regional Market Manager will own market performance including velocity, distribution, and brand visibility by partnering with brokers, selling into stores, executing merchandising strategies, managing local events, and leading a demo team to support marketing initiatives and drive sell through.


This role is highly field-based and requires 80% in-market presence, supporting broker & distributor execution, customer engagement, and brand growth across the assigned territory.


Key Responsibilities

Regional Growth & Retail Execution

  • Drive sales and brand growth across key retailers and channels within the region.
  • Identify and secure new account opportunities, successfully selling in to expand distribution and increase points of distribution.
  • Conduct regular store visits to build relationships with store managers, buyers, and staff.
  • Ensure strong in-store execution including shelf placement, facings, and overall brand visibility.
  • Identify and secure opportunities for secondary off shelf placements and in-store support.

Broker Engagement (Natural Channel)

  • Collaborate and partner with our local brokers to expand distribution and achieve sales goals within the natural food channel.
  • Set clear priorities, monitor performance, and provide ongoing communication and guidance on sales objectives.
  • Collaborate on account strategies, new item launches, and promotional initiatives.

Demo Team Management

  • Lead best-in-class in-store demonstration execution across the assigned territory.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a local in-store demonstration team.
  • Develop demo schedules aligned with key stores, traffic times and sales priorities.
  • Ensure demos are executed effectively to drive trial, conversion, and sell-through.

Local Events & Activations

  • Plan and execute local events, in-store activations, and community marketing initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and engagement within the region.
  • Manage event logistics, partnerships, and performance tracking.

Performance & Reporting

  • Track and report on key performance metrics including sales, distribution, and in-store execution.
  • Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and actionable recommendations.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve performance and drive growth.


Qualifications

  • 3-7+ years of experience in CPG, retail sales, or field marketing (natural channel experience preferred).
  • Experience engaging with brokers or third-party sales partners.
  • Strong understanding of retail merchandising and in-store execution.
  • Experience managing demos, sampling programs, and brand ambassadors.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region.

  • Existing relationships within natural and specialty retail accounts.
  • Experience working with emerging or high growth brands.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with sales reporting tools.
