About Us

Push Operations is a payroll processing company serving restaurants and retail establishments across the United States. We process ACH payroll transactions and are a growing company where compliance plays a central role in our operations and banking relationships.


Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll & Tax /Operations

  • Tax Filings & Payments: Support our operations team for processing of clients federal, state, and local tax withholding, payments, and quarterly/annual filings (including W-2).
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Stay current on changing federal, state and local tax and labor laws, paid leave requirements, for continuous compliance.
  • Client Account Setup/Maintenance: Assist in setting up and maintaining client accounts within our software and third party applications.


2. Client Support & Resolution

  • Direct Inquiry Management: Serve as the first point of contact for complex payroll inquiries from clients and internal team members, to assist in resolving issues related to general payroll questions, tax filing and payments, labor laws and compliance issues, as well as explaining internal procedures and processes.


3. Knowledge Management & Coaching

  • Resource Building: Create and maintain a resource library (FAQs, how-to guides, SOPs) to empower clients and internal team members, and streamline the inquiry process.
  • Coaching/Training: Provide coaching and training for internal teams to help them understand general payroll, tax obligations, and system features, and resolve client inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Identify recurring pain points in client inquiries and propose internal process changes to eliminate them.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in US Multi-State Payroll, Tax Filings (Quarterly, Annual, W2s) and knowledge of time and attendance, HR/Compliance, state/local rules and regulations for all aspects of US payroll processing.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a "find a way" attitude toward reconciling discrepancies.
  • Customer Support: Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role, with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts to non-experts.
  • Educational Content: Experience writing documentation, knowledge base articles, or training materials.

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 USD annually
