Profile:Lecturer Position Summary: The Mathematics Department at the

University of Wisconsin-Platteville invites applications for a

full-time, 9-month Lecturer position beginning August 24, 2026. Key Job

Responsibilities: Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory

instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student

performance Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a

course of instruction Serves as an initial point of contact for students

as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations

Responsibilities: The primary responsibility will be to teach

freshmen/sophomore level mathematics or statistics classes. The teaching

actuarial science, applied mathematics or finance.We also offer a B.S.

degree in data science and a minor in applied statistics.The department

also serves programs in engineering, science, technology, business,

psychology and criminal justice.Class sizes are typically 25-30
