About Position:
- Role: Head of Marketing Transformation & Execution
- Location: Bridgewater, NJ
Role Overview
Marketing is at an inflection point.
As buying becomes more complex and AI reshapes how demand is created and converted, marketing must evolve from a set of functions into a unified, intelligent growth system—one that drives pipeline, shapes market perception, and influences revenue outcomes with precision.
We are looking for a leader who will build and run that system.
As Head of Marketing Transformation & Execution, you will partner closely with the CMO to translate ambition into execution—bringing structure, discipline, and clarity to how marketing operates globally. You will integrate demand, brand, communications, digital, analyst and advisor influence, and partner ecosystems into a cohesive, high-performing engine.
This role operates across a geographically distributed, cross-cultural organization, requiring the ability to work across time zones, align diverse teams, and drive execution at a global scale.
Core Mandate
- Own and evolve the marketing operating system—planning, governance, budgets, and performance
- Drive end-to-end marketing transformation and modernization
- Integrate demand, brand, communications, and influence into one execution model
- Ensure delivery of pipeline, revenue impact, and ROI with discipline
- Act as a force multiplier to the CMO and marketing leadership team
What You Will Drive
1. Marketing Operating Model & Governance
- Design and run a scalable global marketing operating model across verticals, service lines, geographies, and partner ecosystems
- Establish clear planning frameworks, operating cadence, and decision-making structures
- Drive alignment, speed, and accountability across marketing teams
2. Budgeting, Investment & Financial Discipline
- Own end-to-end marketing budgeting and investment governance
- Drive allocation of spend across demand programs, brand, events, partnerships, and digital channels
- Measure and optimize:
- Pipeline per dollar spent
- Channel and campaign ROI
- Investment effectiveness across regions and programs
- Partner with finance and revenue operations to ensure forecast accuracy and strong linkage between spend and revenue outcomes
3. Demand Engine & Revenue Marketing Performance
- Drive visibility and accountability across the full demand lifecycle
- Ensure tight alignment between demand generation, inside sales, and field sales
- Improve:
- Pipeline sourced by our marketing team
- Conversion across the funnel
- Deal velocity and win rates
4. Marketing Transformation & Modernization
- Execute the marketing transformation roadmap across structure, process, and capability
- Transition the organization from campaign-led execution to a demand engine model
- Lead modernization across:
- AI/GenAI adoption
- MarTech and commercial tech stack
- Data and signal-led marketing (intent, dark funnel, 1st/2nd party data)
- Ensure transformation efforts drive tangible business outcomes, not just capability build
5. Functional Elevation Across Marketing
- Serve as a strategic advisor and operator across:
- Demand generation
- Brand and positioning
- Communications and PR
- Creative and social
- Analyst and advisor relations
- Digital and content
- Internal communications and employee engagement
- Partner with functional leaders to:
- Elevate capability and execution quality

- Align programs to business and revenue priorities
- Ensure marketing operates as a cohesive, integrated system—not siloed functions
6. Brand, Communications & Market Alignment
- Ensure alignment between market positioning, demand programs, PR, analyst engagement, and thought leadership
- Drive consistency in how the company shows up across media, analyst ecosystem, digital, and social channels
7. Performance Management & Reporting
- Build a clear, executive-ready view of marketing performance
- Drive visibility into:
- Pipeline and revenue impact
- Conversion and progression across the funnel
- ROI across campaigns, events, and digital investments
- Enable data-driven decision making across marketing leadership
8. Cross-Functional Execution & Alignment
- Act as the central execution anchor across marketing, sales, business units, and partner ecosystem
- Drive alignment across senior stakeholders and ensure priorities translate into coordinated execution
9. Strategic Program Leadership
- Lead high-impact initiatives including:
- Demand engine transformation
- Marketing modernization (AI, data, MarTech)
- Global campaigns and GTM programs
- Analyst, PR, and positioning programs
- Drive delivery with clear milestones, ownership, and measurable outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience across B2B marketing, strategy consulting, revenue marketing, or marketing operations
- Background in top-tier consulting firms or leading global B2B/technology companies strongly preferred
- Strong experience in:
- Marketing operations, planning, and budgeting at scale
- Demand generation and revenue marketing
- Working in global, matrixed environments
- Deep understanding of:
- Full-funnel marketing and pipeline management
- Marketing ROI, attribution, and performance measurement
- MarTech, sales tech, and data-driven marketing
- Exposure to:
- AI/GenAI and modern marketing practices
- Analyst and advisor ecosystems, PR, and brand positioning
- Proven ability to operate at both:
- Strategic level (framing direction, influencing leadership)
- Execution level (driving programs, delivering outcomes)
- Demonstrated experience working across geographically distributed and cross-cultural teams, with the flexibility to operate across time zones and drive alignment in a global organization\
Leadership Traits
- Brings structure to ambiguity and clarity to complexity
