About The Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Designer to join our Brand Design team at Abercrombie & Fitch. This role is pivotal in conceptualizing and executing innovative visual solutions that resonate across multiple marketing channels. The Designer will focus on developing compelling campaigns, brand activations, and seasonal content that elevate the Abercrombie brand, with a particular emphasis on our partnership with the National Football League (NFL). Collaborating closely with Creative Directors, Strategists, Merchants, and Brand Marketing teams, the successful candidate will craft cohesive and trend-driven visual narratives that connect our digital platforms, retail stores, and live events. This position offers the flexibility of remote or in-person work and reports directly to the Senior Art Director. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aesthetic sensibility, a passion for fashion storytelling, and proficiency in digital design tools. The role provides an exciting opportunity to influence brand perception on a global scale and contribute to innovative marketing initiatives that inspire and engage our diverse audience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional creative environment, preferably within marketing or fashion retail
Experience working within iconic, branded environments for international organizations
Strong portfolio showcasing design work across multiple platforms, including print and digital media
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
Knowledge of motion graphics and experience with Adobe After Effects is a plus
Excellent understanding of typography, layout, and digital/mobile media design principles
Strong collaboration and communication skills within creative marketing teams
Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
An interest in NFL and a general understanding of sports branding is desirable
Responsibilities
Conceptualize and develop a cohesive visual language that aligns with the brand’s evolving fashion and lifestyle narrative each season
Collaborate with creative leads, strategists, and merchants to visualize and implement design solutions across all brand touchpoints, including stores, digital channels, and events
Partner with external organizations such as the NFL, NFL teams, and production agencies to manage complex multi-channel projects
Work closely with photo art directors and copywriters to craft compelling visual storytelling that brings fashion trends and lifestyle moments to life in product campaigns
Maintain consistent on-brand creative standards across all deliverables
Manage design workflows, timelines, and deadlines within a dynamic, collaborative environment
Contribute to seasonal and campaign presentations for department and company leadership
Stay informed on industry trends, NFL developments, and competitive retail landscape to inform design strategies
Proactively communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure seamless project execution
