Eastern Regional Sales Manager

Lotus Pet Food, Inc. is a California-based company specializing in premium, minimally processed pet food for dogs and cats. Our signature oven-baked kibble is crafted for optimal nutrition with reduced starch, using hormone-free and antibiotic-free meats and poultry. At our California micro-cannery, we produce small batches of canned food made from USDA-inspected meats and sustainable fish. We also offer raw food options with high-quality, pasture-raised, grass-fed, and sustainably sourced ingredients.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in of the states in our Eastern Region(ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, WV, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, TN, KY, OH, IN, MI, WI, IL, IA) for an Eastern Regional Sales Manager. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, managing client accounts, identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with distributors and retailers, and achieving sales targets. Regular travel within the region to meet with clients and attend tradeshows will be required. The candidate will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure a consistent and efficient sales process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, client relationship management, and account management
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Expertise in identifying new business opportunities and developing effective sales strategies
• Ability to travel regularly within the Eastern Region
• Understanding of the pet food or related industry is preferred but not required
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
• Update and set goals in CRM daily with detailed and accurate information
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus
