Division Controller - Manufacturing

A well-established $65MM manufacturing organization backed by a publicly traded parent company is seeking a Division Controller to lead the finance and accounting function for its New Jersey operation.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands-on, upwardly mobile finance leader who wants to own the full accounting function, partner closely with operations leadership, and help drive strategic growth within a global organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead all plant-level accounting and finance operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow

• Manage and mentor a local accounting team of 4

• Serve as the primary finance business partner to site leadership and operations management

• Oversee inventory/cost accounting, revenue recognition, A/R, A/P, and general ledger activities

• Deliver monthly financial analysis, variance reporting, and operational insights

• Support annual budget process, capital planning, and profitability analysis

• Ensure SOX compliance and adherence to internal controls / US GAAP

• Coordinate with external auditors and corporate finance leadership

• Manage consolidated reporting for domestic and international entities

What We’re Looking For:

• 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience

• Manufacturing industry experience required

• Publicly traded company experience strongly preferred

• SOX/internal controls exposure required

• Strong cost accounting and operational finance background

• Proven leadership ability with a willingness to be hands-on

• CPA and/or MBA preferred

• ERP experience; strong Excel skills required
