Pay Range: $145,000 - $160,000 annually (Exempt)

(This range reflects the expected base salary. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Eligible for bonus and/or incentive compensation.)


Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic, experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to guide our sales and marketing teams toward success. This role will manage sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and cross-functional partnerships to enhance performance, increase visibility, and facilitate market expansion.

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with a strong understanding of brand development, demand generation, and team leadership within the hospitality industry. Responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans that align with the company’s goals and enhance guest experiences to achieve overall business targets.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Lead the sales and marketing teams by setting goals, coaching, and providing mentorship.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Drive profitability by negotiating contracts and pricing with clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding efforts.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics.
  • Oversee the development of marketing campaigns to promote products or services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Sales & Marketing Director or similar senior sales role.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of market research, sales, and marketing principles.
  • Prior Hilton brand experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the San Diego hospitality market is preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
