Job Title: Director of Marketing

Temp to Hire: $42.00/hr / 40 hours/wk (once converted to full-time, salary will be $80K-$85K)

Remote: Must live in South Florida

Travel: Required to the Caribbean 4-6 times annually


Icreatives, a leading staffing firm, is seeking a talented Director of Marketing to lead the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives for a luxury resort company. As a key member of the marketing team, you'll drive direct bookings, build brand equity, and expand the company's reach across key markets.


Key Responsibilities


Advertising & Budget Oversight:

  • Plan and execute a $2 million+ annual advertising strategy
  • Manage and monitor marketing budgets
  • Evaluate promotion and barter opportunities


Brand Strategy & Campaign Execution:

  • Develop integrated marketing plans to support direct bookings and increase brand visibility
  • Support third-party sales channels with brand-aligned creative and marketing collateral
  • Maintain consistent messaging and visual branding across all touchpoints


Public Relations & Content Strategy:

  • Develop an ongoing public relations strategy
  • Oversee influencer partnerships, media visits, and press initiatives
  • Manage and coordinate creative and content for the company's website


Performance Analysis & Market Insights:

  • Review retail positioning using analytic tools and adjust strategies based on insights
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize tactics
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking to maintain brand edge


Team & Vendor Collaboration:

  • Manage creative and digital agencies, content creators, PR firms, and other external vendors
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Revenue Management, and on-property operations teams


Requirements:

8-10+ years in a senior marketing role, ideally in the resort, hospitality, or travel industry


Skills:

  • Strong digital marketing knowledge, including SEM, SEO, social, CRM, and web analytics
  • Experience managing websites, creative content, and e-commerce performance
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills


Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field; Master's preferred


Work Structure and Travel:

  • Based in South Florida, remote with flexible schedule
  • Required to travel to Jamaica 4-6 times per year
  • Occasional travel to industry trade shows, PR events, or partner activations
