Functional Role: Senior DevsScOps Engineer

Locations: Los Angeles, CA *remote but in the following locations

Salary: $175k-195k + bonus

Our client is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to help build and scale a firmwide secure SDLC program. This individual will work at the intersection of security and engineering, partnering closely with development and application teams to integrate security throughout the software lifecycle, including AI-related development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance a secure SDLC program
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
• Conduct code reviews and advise on secure coding practices
• Evaluate and vet third-party tools and software for security risks
• Support AI/ML development security efforts
• Identify, prioritize, and remediate application vulnerabilities
• Participate in security audits, with exposure to attorneys, partners, and clients

Qualifications

• Experience in DevSecOps, Application Security, or a related discipline
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Checkmarx, Veracode, Snyk, and/or OWASP ZAP
• Proficiency in Python and some exposure to Java
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and secure development practices
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
