Job Responsibilities
The Dean of Curriculum and Academic Compliance manages academic curriculum to ensure quality of academic programs and ensure all SACSCOC academic standards are met. Oversees the Academic Program Review process in collaboration with the Office of Assessment, Research, and Planning. Monitors programmatic accreditations and timelines to ensure all accreditation reports are submitted successfully and on time in collaboration with academic leadership. Ensures appropriate and efficient allocation of fiscal, human, and physical resources.
This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Beltline Campus.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
Master's degree; at least five years of progressively responsible related work experience; experience developing or approving curriculum, managing academic compliance with accreditation standards; demonstrated project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work with faculty and staff across the college; great attention to detail and processes; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills; general knowledge of academic curriculum processes and SACSCOC accreditation.
