Control Engineer

I am working with a client in Austin, TX who is a leader in industrial automation and control systems integration.

They are currently expanding their team and are looking for motivated Controls Engineers who are passionate about solving customer's problems with automation.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC and be open to 30% travel. Any experience with Fanuc Robotics is a big plus but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Controls software development using Siemens & Allen Bradley PLC platforms
• Onsite integration, startup, testing & production support
• Interface with the customers and vendors
• Complete project documentation – Open Issues, Task List, Closeout
• Provide weekly updates to management
• Travel 30% to customer sites in North America (not typically longer than 2 weeks away at a time)

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Controls Engineering, including the development of software
• Experience with Siemens PLC platforms is a huge plus
• Experience integrating systems in the field
• Electrical design experience is a plus
• Experience with robotics is a plus
• Must be willing to travel 30%
• Must have a Drivers License

Compensation + Package:

• $95K - $120K (based on experience level)
• OT available
• Bonus potential
