Renewyx have partnered with a family-run, second-generation homebuilder who've built their reputation on doing things the right way - quality-first, people-focused, and with a strong pipeline of Multifamily projects across the Chicago area.
They're looking for an experienced Superintendent to take the reins on-site and be the person who keeps everything moving. If you're the kind of leader who thrives in the field, takes pride in a well-run site, and knows how to get the best out of your subs this one is worth a conversation.
What you'll be doing:
Leading all on-site operations from ground-up through closeout
Managing subcontractors, coordinating trades, and solving field issues as they come
Owning the schedule - developing look-aheads and keeping the project on track
Holding the line on safety, quality, and OSHA compliance
Working closely with the PM on budgets, timelines, and change orders
Keeping documentation tight - daily reports, site records, the lot
What they're looking for:
5+ years as a Superintendent in commercial construction
Solid experience with ground-up and/or interior build-out projects
Someone who can read drawings, manage people, and make good calls under pressure
Procore experience is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker
